Hi Ted,
This is a totally “not-personal” LinkedIn connection request. Why am I writing it? You started it by a Facebook post on how some people send you not-personal Linkedin connection requests (I 100% agree with you).
Here’s mine. Don’t worry, it’s going to take you 2min 36sec to read:
Hi Ted, you may not remember me (or maybe you may) from Snapchat/Twitter/Facebook but here are few things that I think are important:
- Every time I see groovy socks, I think about #TedSockie
- When I talk to people I think not about how quickly I can do business with them but how we can make a good return on that relationship for both (#RonR)
- When I want to give up (yes! that happens sometimes), I try to remember about #NoLetUp and your story (you are a good Dad. No matter what, you don’t give up)
- Whatever I do I think about #BeGoodToPeople – sometimes just a simple small good deed can bright someone’s day. It’s worth it
- You love your ocean view, right? I’m more Arizona desert person but I think we still can talk 😉
- No matter where we are social media can help people to connect, all we have to do is to start with…just being kind
We have never met in person (and there’s a possibility we will never have that chance) but thanks to social media we can help each other to be better in this world.
Ok, that was my ” totally not-personal” LinkedIn connection request. Ok, ok! So maybe it was “just a little” personal 😉
Have a groovy day,
Klaudia
